I like to be cooperative, but in this case it would have been more difficult for me to comply. This is about understanding and exercising our rights. They had no real suspicion other than one mans words to try and obtain my information. A “claim” without SUBSTANTIAL suspicion or evidence a crime has been or is about to be committed, is not enough to detain and most definitely not to arrest. I had zero obligation to give up my (property) name and information.
