The Christmas Train An Original Song

As a little kid, I always loved the story The Little Engine That Could. I always imagined that there could be a Christmas train that comes every year at Christmas Time to help Santa deliver toys to all the little children and spread the magic of Christmas Cheer. This was my inspiration for writing The Christmas Train.

Chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-woo-woo.(Repeat 4 times).

The Christmas train
Soon will be here,
Tonight we go to bed
And awake to a song of cheer.

Verse 1
Don’t give up hope
When life ain’t going well,
Can you hear the whistle blow?
As the fireman rings the bell.

Verse 2
Rolling down the track,
In the middle of the night,
Train cars in the snow,
A string of Christmas Lights.

Verse 3
Hear the rumble of the train
As it comes around the bend,
It’s loaded up with gifts
And candy canes for your friends.

A toy car for every boy,
And a dolly for each girl,
And thanks to this train
We all live in a better world.
