Hospitals received big payoffs for giving the PCR test, more if the test was positive, even more if patient was admitted with a Covid-19 diagnosis, a 20% extra payoff on the entire bill if Remdesivir was used, more if patient was intubated and more if cause if death was listed as Covid-19.
