God is good all the time 419: Understanding our cost for Discipleship

That is the big thing to get here, OUR cost to being a disciple of Jesus. Today we look at Luke 14: 25-35 and this is one place that Jesus talks about the cost of discipleship...and this one tends to really make people scratch their heads. The main thing that people wonder is why if God is love is Jesus talking about hating different people that we are to love? Well the answer is in the fact of the context of whom and where He is talking. In this section Jesus is talking to the crowds and they knew the style of speaking and Jesus was using it hereto make His point about the cost. So come join me as I look at understanding our cost to follow.
