Having covered the critical events of that year in some length from other sources, it's now time to take a look at it from Solzhenitsyn's view. I start here by playing the entire trip-planning piece of Trotsky in New York 1917, where the author describes in detail the process of obtaining a Russian passport and a British visa and buying tickets for his cruise, and then continue with 200 Years chapter 14 on the power structure in post-revolutionary Russia.
