there is one more thing i wanted to talk about in this video it's uh related to playing with your cat uh very often we like to play with cats some people like to play kind of rough you know they they try to play combative games with cat with the cat and wrestle with the cat or make a cat attack them or attack cat or like basically this kind of games are a little bit dangerous because cat is an animal cat as a predator and when you play combative games with cat cat is getting used to the fact that it's normal to attack you attack you attack other humans and there are different cats but some cats can actually you know scratch pretty bad and bite pretty bad so i wouldn't i would wouldn't indulge in this kind of playing games with cats so cats can definitely uh play with you right cats can play with humans and cats understand that human is a human being usually if you teach it a little bit it shouldn't bite so don't um cross that line and if you want to play like combative sports with with your cat uh maybe you should find somebody else to play with right basically what i did is i tried to play you to give toys to cat to make cat play combative you know sports with toys all right with soft toys and stuff like that not with my hand not with my leg not with my body parts but with toys you know i could kind of throw toy at cat a little bit you know in a game for a right way right and cat would attack it so cat would understand the difference between a soft toy and me or you know my family member or my friends and would never attack uh people because it knew that um he knew that this uh there there's a thin line between plane and attack it and he he definitely would tear apart those soft toys sometimes just would literally tear them apart like you know like like a dog but he would understand that he shouldn't bite me and he shouldn't scratch me um when playing games the other thing that i did when i was when i was young and my cat was young and when i was younger should they say i'm not old and my cat was younger i would use a boxing glove a large real real large old boxing glove and would play with that boxing glove and cat and cat knew that kid it could attack boxing glove but it cannot attack like my body right it cannot attack me because a couple times he tried i slapped him a little bit he understood the message so he knew when i put on the boxing glove he knew and understood that this is time to play if he was he wanted to he could attack that glove as much as he can and just bite it and kick it and do whatever he wants but he knew that humans are untouchable and the other thing cats when you wrestle cat cats eventually start treating you as a potential rival or enemy or aggressor and they don't necessarily like to wrestle you know they don't necessarily want it especially when they get older so i just wouldn't do it i would divert their aggressive or gainful attention to toys maybe to other cats to some something to play with but not you all other games like chairs and other things it really depends on your cat's personality cats are different they are not identical robots or genetic material they're very different have different personalities some cats don't like to play at all some cats really like to play so you gotta watch what your cat likes if your cat likes you to chase the cat chase him or her so you can do that or chase you it might be all right a certain degree uh but if cut cat likes chasing something i would play use toys like a tennis ball or ping pong ball or my kids like to you know run after tennis ball and sometimes it's to bring it back so cats do that too and if cat gets too rough or too aggressive and starts playing with you this is time to stop you should say the word stop stop and cat will understand because it will understand your tone and it will certainly the word stop with something that you know you shouldn't do he shouldn't do that or she shouldn't do that anymore usually i'm talking about male cats they're more aggressive than female cats female cats don't play as much i think no not as magic in aggressive games anyway you should establish relationship with your cat and everything will be fine and your cat understands much more than cats understand much more than we think so i'll see you in the next video and you can check out links below in description to this video thanks
