Action Comics vol.1 #1 — the first issue of comics about Superman, for the third time becomes the most expensive comic book in the world. A copy of the first issue of Action Comics, printed in June 1938, was sold at auction on eBay for $3 million, $207 thousand, which is a new record. The previous record of $2.16 million was broken. The authors of the first Superman comic are Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel. The first issue of Action Comics vol.1 was the first comic book sold at auction for more than $1 million, and it only happened in February 2010. The comic is the rarest exhibit of any collection, which explains the high cost — according to experts, there are no more than 100 copies left in the world.
