The MGP-DR100-208Y.120-12X1P.20A-2X3P.50A from Larson Electronics is a Portable Power Distribution Panel that offers operators a primary and secondary three-phase voltage of 208Y/120V and fourteen output receptacles via a 100-amp main circuit breaker panel. This power distribution panel system provides operators the ability to safely tap into power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This portable panel is suitable for outdoor applications.

The MGP-DR100-208Y.120-12X1P.20A-2X3P.50A portable power distribution panel provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with three-phase 208Y/120V AC. The power distribution on this portable panel makes three-phase 208Y/120V available via two, Meltric DR100 pin/sleeve female receptacles and twelve, 5-20R duplex GFCI receptacles. All receptacle are equipped with weatherproof covers.

Operation:

• Primary Voltage: 3-phase 208/120V AC Wye

• Primary Receptacles: (2) DR100 UL1682 100A 3P+N+G Pin & Sleeve Recessed Receptacles [208/125V]; (12) 5-20R NE GFCI DPLX [125V] Recessed Receptacles

• Transformer: N/A

• Secondary Voltage: N/A

• Secondary Receptacles: N/A

*See specification table at the top of the page for more information about the power distribution system.

Recessed Receptacles: This unit features recessed receptacles that are installed flush with the system's enclosure. This design offers increased durability thanks to the reduced number of parts used and to the elimination of the nipples needed for externally mounted bell boxes. In other words, there are less things to potentially break, fail, rust, or become otherwise compromised.

Wiring: The MGP-DR100-208Y.120-12X1P.20A-2X3P.50A contains a 100-amp 600V rated Meltric DR100 pin/sleeve male inlet, which can be used to bring three-phase 208Y/120V power into the power distribution system.

Power: The main load center is protected by a 100-amp load center with main breaker for circuit protection. The NE 3R 100-amp, three-phase 208Y/120V main circuit breaker panel contains two, 50-amp 3-pole 250V breakers protecting two, 100-amp 600V rated Meltric DR100 pin/sleeve female receptacles and twelve, 20-amp 1-pole 125V breakers protecting twelve, 20-amp 125V 5-20R duplex GFCI receptacles.

Protective Construction: The MPD-CD5-RB2-BS.100AB-YT0YT-LZ-12.N10-M1 is rated NE 3R weatherproof when it is not in use. This means that it can be left outside as long as none of the receptacles have anything plugged into them. It is NOT NE 3R rated when in use or when the receptacles are engaged. Larson Electronics offers additional covers that can be added to this unit to make it NE 3R rated while in use as well. The transformer is protected by vibration isolators that reduce damage to exterior jacket of wiring components and decrease noise during operation. In MGL-style power distribution systems, the presence of vibration isolators ensures wiring between the transformer and panel is well protected and does not have to be frequently replaced. Vibration isolators can also be found on the breakers, which protect the breakers from damage, prevent loose bolts/nuts and reduce overall noise during use in the field.

The power distribution system is constructed of steel with a polyester powder coated blue finish for durability against dirt, moisture and mild corrosion. This special coating creates a high-strength barrier for protection from accidental bumps and scratches. The TGIC polyester powder coat finish offers reliable resistance against chemicals, UV light (sun light) and degrading elements in outdoor locations. Our powder coating solution ensures robust color retention for many years without fading. Custom colors, such as black, grey, desert tan or forest green, and galvanized finishes are available upon request. Non-standard powder coat colors or galvanized finishes may increase price and lead times.
