Today’s music is powered by unprecedented technology and popularized by the largest, wealthiest and most leisure generation in history. Music has changed the modern world, in ways more profound than any other social phenomenon. Evidence of its impact is all around us. Music has become a multi-billion-dollar industry. Music can be for healing the soul or for damaging the soul. In episode 6 we pick up where we left off investigating the spiritual forces behind music. Where do these artists get their inspiration and what is the message we are receiving from it? The ancient Greek philosophers like Socrates and Plato wrote about spirits called muses, that would inspire artists to write poems or music. Many artists today are describing similar experiences.
