Romans chapter 8 "The Holy Spirit"

Romans chapter 8 is a Holy Spirit centered chapter. I call it the Sons of God chapter. Paul mentions the Holy Spirit at least 18 times. In this chapter he gives an understanding of who the Holy Spirit is, what he does for us and what we have to do to be in line and in agreement with God. The Holy Spirit is often ignored by the body of Christ, but He is as important as the Father and the Son. He is the third person of the Godhead. He could only be sent to all believers after Jesus Christ died, was resurrected by him and was seated at the right hand of the Father. The mission of the Holy Spirit is to empower the Church to be a victorious bride that will defeat and place ALL of Jesus’ enemies under His footstool.
