Tim Langan - Only In Pictures

I felt that it was necessary to go through some of my back catalog and upload one of my more lengthy and adventurous compositions. This piece was created entirely on my Korg 01Wfd synthesizer, with it's built in 16-track sequencer. It is an orchestral arrangement, but its foundation is based on the fluctuation of odd time signature passages and over lapping chordal segments played predominantly by the string section.
While many of the "pictured" images used in this slideshow are mine, I have chosen to use a large selection of works by many of the master painters that have improved our lives and helped to civilize our world by colouring it with the sheer brilliance and beauty that they have created. This slideshow includes, but is not limited to works by; Botticelli, Bruegel, Caravaggio, Da Vinci, Ernst, Goya, Greco, Klimt, Magritte, Michelangelo, Monet, Picasso, Raphael, Rembrandt, Renoir, Rodin, Rousseau, Rubens, Storrier, Van Eyck, Van Gogh, Uccello & Vermeer, as well as some images by several other artists and photographers. I, in no way claim to own the copy write for most of the images used throughout this slideshow and only use the images here in an attempt to share some of the beauty and wonder that they have managed to create, with you. I hope that you will enjoy my "little ditty" and have a huge appreciation for the works of some of the great masters used here.
