I was introduced to the Moto Minnow a number of years ago as a Smallmouth streamer but I think it was originally created as a trout streamer. It is a straightforward easy fly to tie that has a nice broad profile in the water as well as nice contrasting colors to get the attention of the fish. This fly can be fished higher in the water column in faster water and slow and right on the bottom in slower water. This gives this fly many different areas it can be fished and allows it to represent many different food types. It can easily be tied in different colors for different waters and conditions! - Enjoy

If you have any questions about the tying of this fly feel free to let me know in the comments below.
