A Warning and challenge to the False Prophets

This is a warning and a challenge to the prophets who are in the land of God’s inheritance. I am speaking in the office of a seer of Jehovah the Lord of hosts.
Jeremiah 23
16 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.
17 They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
Everyone who prophecies peace and baal, anyone who does not prophecy judgment on the house of the Lord and the complete necessity for the total Lordship of Christ, is a false prophet. The Lord has not sent them. They are sons of belial. They are children of worthless vanity. They lead the body of Christ astray.
18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?
How can we test who is hearing from the Lord today?
19 Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
How can we test who is hearing from the Lord today?
Those who have received a message of the coming whirlwind, and this next year begins the judgment of the Lord upon His house and upon the nations.
20 The anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
If the popular false prophets had told you, the masses in the church establishment, of the coming judgment, you would have repented. They did not tell you, and you will not repent.
29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
The prophets today have stolen the revelation of prior generations and twisted it to proclaim peace to the wicked and complacent, the unrepentant and unsurrendered. Woe upon the prophets who prophecy, but not of the Lord.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord.
The Lord will judge harshly those who proclaim peace to the children of Israel, this backslidden people.
15 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
1 Kings 18
17 And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
The wicked hireling leaders of the flock tell us that we are troubling the people by pronouncing judgement. We have a critical spirit. No! Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the Lord, and because of the words of his holiness.
18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim.
19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.
Bring your false prophets and have them prophecy the things of baal. The things of prosperity in BABEL. Tell us that “all things will continue as they were… Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.” Tell us not of the “fiery trial.”
Know what the Lord says you instructors of Jacob, “When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”
Speak unto us and tell us, “thus saith the Lord, ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”
I will retort to you, “The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him.”
This is the challenge. We will see if your baal of peace and prosperity can consume the sacrifice of your pleadings. Or will my God, the Consuming Fire, the God of Justice, the God who has been profaned by your mockeries. Will my Jehovah come to consume even the land of His promise. He will turn even the City of David into an altar of fire.
But, “Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God.
And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace.”
20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
O you prophets of vanity be assured, the Lord will “take the prophets of Baal; (*and*) let not one of them escape.”
I proclaim, “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;”
“When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.”
“The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?”
To the prophets of this people who God has not sent.
“Hear now, Hananiah (*you who never proclaim of the righteous wrath of God*); The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord.”
This year is the year of your downfall.
And to those who ignore the voice of the Lord and find safety in the books and doctrines of men. You who have hewed broken cisterns for the thirsty of Israel. This too will be held to your account.
Isaiah 56
10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
Isaiah 29
9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
10 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book is delivered to him that is NOT learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
