Ezekiel 38-44 Part 1 - Ezekiel Study
Ezekiel really has nothing to do with the end time, however the Book of Ezekiel has language in it that parallels events which will happen under plan B and this is why the Book of Ezekiel is important to understand.
John, in Revelation 20:8 says, He will go out to deceive the nations—called Gog and Magog—in every corner of the earth. He says this without giving any further explanation of what he's talking about.
What he’s talking about is: at the end of the thousand years, the devil will go out to deceive the nations of the earth, to gather them for battle. And in number, they are like the sand on the seashore. Gog and Magog are named because John is clearly referring back to the words of Ezekiel; for this language is found nowhere else other than in Ezekiel.
I believe Magog was a descendant of Japheth, the son of Noah. This piece of land is far to the north. And King Gog is representing Lucifer and his tribe and people from the north. John, in Revelation 20, picks up on it and we see Gog and Magog because Plan A and Plan B are parallels. Lucifer and all the nations with him, at the end of the thousand years, are like GOG from the land of Magog and all the nations that are with him in Ezekiel 38 & 39. The parallel is the same, however Ezekiel is at a different point in time than Revelation 20. What was predicted in Ezekiel 38 & 39 will not come to pass. What is predicted in Revelation 2o will.
