It's an amazing effort, and so far mostly singlehanded.

In Thailand lots of lost Dogs Find their way into the Mountains.
Whether they are abandoned there, Or now they are born there,

They still need our help!

Dogs are domestic animals, not wildlife, they cannot live on their own.
Even if they could hunt, there is not enough game in these close mountain ranges.

Homeless animals are a very big problem in Thailand, because of our tropical location. People might say that the government has to solve this problem, but if they could help one area, they would need a program and the personnel for all 77 Provinces. Millions of dogs (and cats). For centuries dogs did their own thing and begged for food. Now with increasing urbanization, we need a better plan.

At this point it all depends on volunteers.

Working with animals has no holidays, because they need care every single day. There are about 30 feeding stations along this road. Most stations have wash tubs set out to hold the food. Some dogs are too frightened to come to the road, so their feeding stations are up the mountain trail. Some dogs might be hiding, but the wash tub is empty by the next day. We really have no accurate count, but we know that more than 150 kg of food is consumed daily, and if we had more it would go too. When you are distributing 150 kg every single day, it adds up to an enormous amount by the month or the year.

We have worked with Animal Foundations and we are looking to a long term solution. They neuter and spay dogs, check their health and give them a vaccination. We are contacting more veterinary associations to continue this work. But it takes time to catch the dogs, a few at a time, and care for them.

Seeing this video you might be afraid of the larger packs. They have never hurt people nor those that feed them, if they are not harassed or challenged.

If you want to help, just a little can make a big difference.
One dog is fed for $.05 cents, with absolutely zero overhead or administration cost. Only $3.00 can feed about 50 - 60 dogs. $10 - $12 can take care of one whole day.

We hope to be the opportunity to participate that some people may have been searching for.

It's under the name of Central Art Service, our old company before we retired, moved to Thailand, and dedicate our lives to animals.
We don't want money for volunteering. If we were ever to get too much money, we would buy more supplies for other people to prepare. But alone it has been really difficult to bear all the costs of supplies.

Thanks for watching, Thanks for knowing what we are doing.
