Deviated Septum surgery

After having deviated septum surgery, they temporarily implant these splints in your nostrils for about a week. That’s about a week too long. At times it’s uncomfortable, and sometimes I felt like ripping these things out by hand in the middle of the night. But thankfully I waited until the doctor removed them.
I hadn’t been able to breathe out of my nose for over 43 years. Since age 5. I was so happy to breathe for the first time that I cried and hugged my doctor 😂
