Here i show the way i create one of my Picasso style impressionist ink wash paintings.
Using ink and paper to create my artworks have been a useful way for me to practice my brushwork and hone my style. Practicing every day is important as an artist and using ink wash is a great way to practice my craft. Ink wash painting is a process (similar to watercolor painting) that uses black India ink to create greyscale works of art. If you are new to ink washing, you can begin by practicing gradation, mixing different amounts of water with your ink to achieve varied shades. Next, you can experiment with different line techniques.
