n 2015, Jesper Tjäder fueled the progression of slopestyle skiing with the release of “Unrailistic”, in which he showcased new and playful tricks on never-seen-before features. This year Tjäder is back with his notebook filled with new trick ideas and creative, never built features.

New tricks include the Body Slide to Spin Out and obstacles like the Double Handplant to combinations of both, like the 450° onto an eight-kink rail. Every trick took days to plan and execute, with some taking well over 100 attempts to complete including one on a rail that is the highest park rail ever built. Jesper makes the Triple-S to triple-kink rail combo look smooth and effortless, however it is a mind-bendingly difficult combination that took the Östersund native 118 attempts to make. Freeskiing filmmaker Matt Pain added: "What Jesper has done in this edit is light years ahead of the scene. This edit will still be relevant in 10 years time."

The Swedish freeskier is known for his creative flare from comps like Red Bull Playstreets to his ski park clips like Supervention. He started to ski when he was around four years old, and since that day has been pushing himself to learn all sorts of new tricks on skis. "I always try to push the sport and come up with tricks that no one have ever done before, or maybe only a few have done," says Tjäder.

Some impressive competition results so far include first place at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, first place in the Swedish Slopestyle Tour and second in the New Zealand Freeski Open. Tjäder has also stacked up a bunch of awards. He picked up the IF3 Rookie of the Year in 2011, and both the 2011 Best Rail Skier of the Year and 2012 Park Shredder of the Year awards from the Transition Winter Awards. And when he's not snagging podium places, he's still keeping the crowds entertained with his awesome bag of tricks. When he stomped a huge double backflip at the 2015 Jon Olsson Invitational, it was more than enough to secure him a well-earned People's Choice award.
