Many Christians do not know that the judgment of the living occurs during the Great Tribulation just before the seven last plagues begin. In other words, everyone on earth will have been judged when the two witnesses complete their work at the end of the 1260 days. Jesus will pronounce this benediction upon the world: “Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy."

The end of the gospel can be compared to the closing of the door on the arc in Noah's day. When the door closed, everyone inside the arc was sealed inside and everyone outside the arc was sealed outside. Once the door of the ark was closed, the judgment of the living was furnished, and seven days later the rain fell. For 120 years, Noah preached about the coming flood, then one day the huge door of the arc was closed. It’s important to notice that it could not be closed nor opened by Noah.

And so it will be with God's offer of salvation. Salvation will be preached for 1260 days and then the door to salvation will close. Now, here are two points that you need to know about the close of mercy: 1) during the 1260 days of the seven trumpets, Jesus is willing to save any repentant soul; and 2) salvation will be possible until the two witnesses have finished their testimony.
