Belgian Malinois is still a titty baby

My big , bad ,vicious Belgian Malinois sucks on his big bunny rabbit like he is a pup. He’s one and a half years old, to old to be nursing. I put it up on the bed to keep it away from him. I’ll have to put it somewhere else if I really don’t want him to have it. I doesn’t bother me but my husband can’t stand to see DeeOhGee nursing. I wonder about the air that he is sucking in. If it might actually make him colic one day by filling his stomach full of air.
