Sosa Family Reserve Maduro Robusto Cigar Review

This 5x50 stick features an oily firmly packed dark brown wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, huge triple cap, fine sand paper tooth and faint sweet cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied smoke showing flavors of an oily, smooth sweet grassy note going to a clean earth with a short finish. The first third transitions to a smooth musty tobacco quickly shifting on the finish to a deeper earth and touch of sweetness. The burn is very good but fast. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with perfect performance and just the slight change of an additional leather on the draw. Ending at 1:05 where the nub got hot, the last third showed no further flavor changes but the burn did slow significantly down.
