Racist Cupcakes! - Affirmative Action Bake Sale - Classic John Stossel

"This week, I held a bake sale -- a racist bake sale." John Stossel says, "I stood in midtown Manhattan shouting, "Cupcakes for sale." My price list read: Asians -- $1.50 Whites -- $1.00 Blacks/Latinos -- 50 cents"... The pricing goes according to skin tone. A lot like college admissions. Of course, that didn’t go over too well with the public. Notice how this outrage is seemingly non-existent in cases where condescending, racist “help” is actually present. For example, Affirmative Action is A-OK when it comes to college entry. But using race to jack up the prices for globs of sugar? Not so much…
This is a rudimentary example, sure. But Stossel still manages to drive the point home. And as it turns out, the education system doesn’t work all too differently from this meager bake sale. There are plenty of scholarships and grants available to “people of color,” so long as it’s the right color. For instance, Latinos and blacks. Meanwhile Asians? They get punished for being super studious and a bit too olive toned. REAL RACISM: Asian-Americans Denied College Admissions for Being Too Smart?! Colleges are supposed to be filled with a rainbow of leftist numpties, not scholarly Asians.

Alas, all is fair in “equality.” After all, those diversity quotas aren’t going to fill themselves.
