About recording your tracks; When are you gonna feel satisfied with your music?

How many takes do you need? 🎙🎸🎛

Here is what I think:
Wake up, take a coffee, get your guitar, push record and go.
Probably your first take is gonna be it.
Forget everything between take 2 and take 85.

9 times out of 10; What you play on your first take is probably gonna be it. You might make some odd mistakes but they will be yours as closest "you" can get.

It's like taking a morning swim. The first drops of water touching your skin pulls you right into being alert and present. Especially when the water is cold.

You might enter the water 20 more times that day, but it wouldn't be as adventurous and fresh as your first dive.

Wake up, have a coffee, get your guitar, push "record" and go 🤘

But that's just what I think.
