Don Zimmer is one of the most beloved characters in recent baseball memory. The baseball lifer spent 12 years playing the majors before embarking on a managing and coaching career that spanned 65 years and 8 decades.
In modern times he is best remembered as Joe Torre’s right hand man during the Yankees dynasty of the Mid 1990’s.
