A rational perspective on Climate Change... outlines pros and cons. This does not eliminate the debate on human affects on Global Warming.

What if Global warming is entirely impacted on anthrogogenic CO2 rather than Milankovitch Cycles?

Global warming and cooling has occurred since man's creation (6000+ years) Man has always adapted.

Bjorn also talks about the economics of adaptation.
In 1800, approx. 90-95% of people were "poor". Today it's less than 10%. By 2100 it will be zero, "unless we make very poor decisions".

Death rates: Extreme temperatures kill approx. 5 million humans every year. Approx. 4,500,000 die of extreme cold, while approx. 500,000 die of extreme heat.
