Exploring Nebraska: The Small Town of Ashland

Hello everyone
We decided to check out Ashland Nebraska today, a cute small town about 30 minutes outside of Lincoln. Ashland has a population of 2523 residents. Ashland was voted top 10 most beautiful cities in Nebraska, everyone in town seems very friendly and I definitely get the “Nebraska nice” vibe there. The brick streets are lined with trees and it just has a quaint, inviting feel to it. There are a few restaurants in town, that I would say are family friendly and a couple coffee shops if you are in need of a latte. We really enjoyed the glacier till tasting room which is located downtown, you can’t miss it. It’s a Fun spot to hang out for a date night or have a birthday party or even hang with the fam. We tried a couple of their ciders and the red wine, highly recommend stopping in for a drink or an amazing charcuterie board. Ashland is also known for their strategic air command and aerospace museum, wildlife safari park and the iron horse golf club. There really is something for everyone in this small town. Cellar 426 winery is a cool spot to stop in and have a glass of wine. The grounds are surrounded by vineyards, trees and a great big grassy area with a outdoor stage where local musicians will perform in the summer, we definitely want to come back to on of their events. It’s a Great place for a girls day or again bring the family with you, it has a laid back relaxing vibe. Cellar 426 is located just outside of town, but definitely worth the stop.
