better to get lost inside yourself than anywhere else (piano punk)

i look at society with the same disgust that they have when they look at me
i run for cover and duck whenever i see em comin
i don't have to talk when i don't wanna talk
i wish i could explain my pov to those that think they gotta go along w/ stuff they don't wanna
i dunno EXACTLY how anyone feels but me
i do get in my own way a lot
drama and unnecessary gossip, it's all that people do
it ain't social media's fault
sloppity slop is what society was the whole time
it's always been this way
now it's so pronounced it can't be denounced by those that wanna remain distracted
distractions keep their ducks in a line
