Elizabeth Holmes, Fraud Extraordinaire & Media Darling, Convicted On Several Counts

One of the last big trials from 2021 reached a partial conclusion with a jury finding Elizabeth Holmes guilty on 4 of 11 charges stemming from her dealings with the medical testing company, Theranos.

She was a massive fabrication of the Mainstream media, a darling from the company's inception, all the way up until their spectacular failing in 2015.

Holmes' failings with money are only superseded by how she managed to squander all the influence and backing she managed to accrue during her meteoric rise in relevance. Connections she built, like that with then Vice President Joe Biden, but still throw away nearly a Billion dollars is the stuff of legends.
