Denver at highest COVID positivity rate yet; hospitals warn of staff shortages due to omicron

Public health and hospital officials said Tuesday Denver is at its highest positivity rate yet during the pandemic because of the omicron variant, which could also lead to hospital staff shortages and school staff shortages because of its increased transmissibility, they said.
