Our First New Laser CNC Project for Avid CNC

More Bling for our Avid CNC Router Table

This is the first real CNC project for our new (partially) installed Laser Attachment for the Avid CNC Router. The results as shown in the video are from a single CNC program.

We are still learning the Laser Addition capabilities, and where it will be useful alongside normal routing tool functions.

Currently, most elements of the Laser installation are working as desired, but I still have to: Connected up the Laser Deployment Servo, Fine tune the Laser Offset, and Finish programming the "Post-Postprocessor" (PPp) that will allow us to use ArtCam, Inkscape, and Fusion 360 for the  CAD source.  Our Masso CNC Controller understands the Laser as Tool T111, but with a little help from an external PPp our workflow will be seamless. The Laser is just another tool for use. A lot of details and effort are going into the PPp but I think the results will be worth it.

Also, I am now trying to learn some "Video Editing" software, hopefully better video production will follow.
