This 4.5x54ish perfecto stick features a unique tissue paper like shaggy foot, tight twines of candella leaf spiraled down the entirety, a dark cocoa main wrapper with a firm even pack, soft satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a rich cocoa & barn aroma and double cap. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied light smoke showing flavors of a dark roast coffee bean, deep woodiness and slight pepper on the long smooth finish. The first third needs a quick touchup, but still has a great draw. Notes shift slightly with a natural sweetness taking the dark cocoa towards a milk chocolate. On the very end of the draw you get a quick blast of the candella sweet grass. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes adding a hefty strength kick with flavors going to a deep earth and dark coffee, dropping the cocoa and pepper. Ending at just over an hour to the hot nub, the strength came up just a tad more with flavors remaining the same.
