San Lotano Connecticut Toro Cigar Review
This 6x52 stick features a dark tan soft oily wrapper with some discoloration and blemishes, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and rich hay aroma. First light reveals an easy draw with plentiful medium-full bodied oily smoke output with flavors of a bitter wood on a short finish. The first third mellows to a medium body keeping the smooth woody core, dropping the bitterness. A tiny pepper joins the finish which is still short and clean. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with a fast but even burn. Flavors slightly change with the pepper ever so slightly dying down and a tiny creamy caramel on the draw. Ending at 45 minutes where it got too hot for my taste, the last third showed no changes other than the typical nuttiness at the end with the hot cherry.
