Have you had a "hard life?"

Be sure I have NO desire to belittle or besmirch you where that's concerned.

That said, if you're in the United States, the CHANCES ARE GOOD, it's not been as hard as you'd like to believe.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad for saying you've had a tough time.

I'm not trying to say it wasn't COMPARATIVELY tough, when compared to those close around you.

I DO want you to understand there are folks out there, who LIKELY have had NOTHING LIKE as good a time of it as you.

People in the slums of India and the Favellas of Brazil, as well as pretty much ANYBODY NOT IN THE "FAVORED CLASSES" in North Korea.

Even so, if you've had it hard, even though CLIMBING OUT of your difficulties have probably made you a "better person," going through those sometimes-crushingly-difficult times, have ALMOST CERTAINLY made you a stronger, better, person.

This is what I discuss in today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
