Jesus needed to be sober-minded to discern that the devil was trying to trick him when asking him to turn the stone into bread. We must be sober-minded, attentive to the Holy Spirit's leading to help us discern, so that we don't allow any of the devil's schemes in our lives. Once you start taking your spiritual well-being seriously, you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit revealing any scheme of the enemy.
