Lapping tools are used to ensure the face of the upper receiver is perpendicular to the center-line of the bore. This tool is used with lapping compound to polish the face and make it completely smooth. This KIT contains 4 lapping tools the Aero Precision M4E1 & M5E1 upper receiver lapping tools and the Standard Threaded AR-15 & AR-10 upper receiver lapping tools.
