Thankyou to Unicorn Heads for the music Bright Eyed Blues

What I have learnt from my experience:
I had a lot of problems with perspective and so I took a photo of my painting
and used krita. I took my photo and I added a layer and drew an outline of the eyes, nose and mouth. Then I imported the photo of the painting and adjusted the size to match the photo. then I hid the photo layer and moved the outline layer above the painting layer and I could see where I got the proportions wrong. I will do this from the start in future to help me get the proportions right to save time.

My battery from my camera ran out and didn't get all of the painting that I did. There's not a lot I can do about that. But I think I should place the camera to the left so my hand doesn't obscure what I am doing so much.

I think I should get some cloth gloves, because oil paint is messy and gets on everything. I washed the brushes with dishwashing detergent and this worked well.

I need a lot more practice, but I am relatively happy with the start I have made. I will do another painting next week.
