The executive of the House panel examining the Capitol insurgence on Wednesday welcomed GOP minority pioneer Kevin McCarthy to deliberately affirm.

"To impart to us, and is ready to intentionally come in, I'm not forgetting about the greeting," Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) told ABC News. "If Leader
McCarthy doesn't has anything to stow away, he can deliberately precede the advisory group."

Thompson added that he would think about sending McCarthy a conventional solicitation to show up before the panel. Assuming he does as such, the House GOP pioneer would turn into the third Republican in Congress welcomed to affirm, joining Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Scott Perry of Pennsylvania.

McCarthy, who purportedly had a yelling coordinate with previous president Donald Trump on Jan. 6, was found out if he would help out the Jan. 6 advisory group.

"I have nothing to add," McCarthy reacted. "I have been extremely open, however I wouldn't stow away from anything."
