I wrote this song a couple of days before Christmas On December 23 2022, then I recorded it and made it into video two days after Christmas and uploaded as a post.

Trees trimmed with garland,
So merry and bright,
Streets lit like diamonds
From a thousand Christmas lights.
Carolers on my doorstep,
Christmas carols fill my ears,
So many people sharing presents,
No single face showing tears.

What would wrap things up for Christmas
Is to have you here with me,
By a warm cozy fire.
Beside our Christmas tree.

Sitting by the yule log,
Beneath the mistletoe above,
In a warm Christmas sweater,
Sipping cocoa with my love.
Cold frosty windows,
Scent of ginger in the air,
Baby Jesus in the manger,
Listens to our prayers.
