In America, this fish includes sportfishing / game fishing, namely fish that are targeted by anglers. Its large size and life in a flowing river makes pibas a challenge for fishing mania. Like other large predatory fish, the pbass likes fish, shrimp and frogs. Although at first glance all the species may seem overwhelming which causes a lot of confusion and errors in identifying this type of pibas, there are significant differences between them. There are several types of Peacok Bass fish consisting of 15 species (Kullander & Ferreira, 2006) plus 1 newly discovered species.
