The 'Phone Guy

The result of a one-man whistle-stop tour of 8 telephone boxes in the city of Örebro, Sweden, on one day in 2004.

I wanted to honor some of the telephone boxes in Örebro (and everywhere) before they disappeared.
A few of the phones in the film were vandalized on a regular basis.
I would like to live in a city where there are public phones on the street. I think it's a sign of a healthy city, even though I use my mobile.
None of telephone boxes in the film are there any more, except for one that is a listed structure, a few were replaced with a more modern version that lasted a couple of years, but now all are gone forever.
The entire recording took place during the UN Day of Dance 2004, over a two hour period ... Me, my bike, camera (still mini DV tape in those days), tripod. Nothing else.
(I, Toby Gunn, am the owner and creator of this film and maintain all intellectual property right to this content.)

Hela inspelningen ägde rum under FN:s Dansens Dag 2004, under två timmar... Jag, min cykel, kamera, stativ. Ingenting annat.
