Rogel Aguilera-Mederos Sentenced To 110 Years In Prison For The I-70 Truck Crash

Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, a Cuban man living in Texas and working for a Houston, Texas based trucking company experienced brake failure while transporting a load through Colorado. The brake failure resulted in a fiery 28 car crash on I-70 in a mountainous section of the interstate.

The trucking company was not held liable, however Rogel was prosecuted and convicted, he was later sentenced to 110 years, causing a major public outcry for his sentence to be reduced.
