Tonight, I received an email from the Alexandria, Louisiana Veterans Affairs Medical Center informing me that despite following the traveling Veteran medical guidelines that Durham VA Medical Center chose to cancel all of my health care.

This is NOT supposed to happen according to:

* "VHA Handbook 1101.11 Coordinated Care for Traveling Veterans"
* "VA Offers Seamless Care for Traveling Veterans or Veterans Seeking Care at an Alternate VA" https://www.va.gov/healthbenefits/news/VA_offers_seamless_care_for_traveling_veterans_or_veterans_seeking_care_at_an_alternate_va.asp
* "Traveling Veteran Coordinator – Traveling for the Winter?" https://blogs.va.gov/VAntage/67572/traveling-veteran-coordinator/

This choice by Durham VA Medical Center forces me to start over from scratch at my new location.

I responded to the staff member Alexandria, Louisiana Veterans Affairs Medical Center asking about options to reverse this decision. However, I left absolutely nothing to chance and immediately called the White House Hotline (VEO) to report the issue and prevent additional hardships upon myself.

America's health care system is badly broken.
