Cal: "[...] People fight income tax based on the British North America Act [laughs], and the judges just look at them like, 'Well, not today. You're barking up the wrong tree.' In their [judges] head: 'That act doesn't exist. So you can carry on jumping up and down yelling and screaming all you want, and at the end of the day, as soon as you stop talking, I'm going to rule against you.'"

Cal: "But when you come in and say, 'I don't think there's a country, I think the BNA Act was unenacted in 1893, and therefore, I don't think this court exists, and therefore I don't think you exist your honor,' they treat you different."

Curtis: "And you had some of those experience yourself?"

Cal: "I had lots of them."
