With the law on God's throne the focus will not be on Jesus. It will be on measuring up to the standard the law sets. This focus causes men to miss Jesus as Rom.3:23 says by clinging to the righteousness that comes through the law. A righteousness that Paul considered "dung" and "loss" compared to the righteousness that is knowing Jesus.
