God is good all the time 395: Advent- A Powerful Identity, pt 3

Day three and we are looking at the identity of Jesus through John the baptist. Today we see that his identity was not based on performance like many of our jobs today. John didn't have to go and preach to 1000 people a day or baptize 500 people a day, no his job was to be the voice proclaiming the Christ was coming. He was able to see that his job was to be nothing and to be on the bottom but that the one who comes after has a much more important identity and he is there telling the people what they are to be looking for. But as we know not everyone looked and saw what John was proclaiming...so now the question then becomes...do YOU see who and the identity of the one that is coming? Do you believe and proclaim what John was proclaiming? Who are you? And who do you think you are?
