They were hoping that this would be the variant to end all variants, but it's looking like the tail end of the power grab and the fear peddlers are getting desperate.

Pfizer magically got approved for EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION on their magic pill that helps with symptom suppression on those who have already gotten a positive diagnosis. Funny thing about that, not only can they not get sued, but the Biden Administration already spent $5 Billion for millions of doses. It's not what you know, it's who you know I guess.
