Can a Christian be too Biblical?

The video Blog covers my time taking a Systematic Theology class where the professor mentioned how some Christians are so strong in their Biblical literalism that they would rather have someone remain in an abusive marriage than get divorced. And I began to notice the same thing, especially when a friend sought divorce from a spouse that was an abusive narcist.
