Milling a Threaded Insert Waste Board for My 30x30 CNC

This video goes through milling a 34x34 square of 3/4 inch MDF down to ~30.5/30.5 inch waste board with holes for threaded inserts spaced 1.5" apart and 9 through holes for holding the waste board to the table top.

Having the waste board 30.5x30.5 gives me full range of milling with the dust shoe attached and room to surface the entire waste board when needed. Using threaded inserts set flush with the table top gives me the ability to remove the waste board when needed to accommodate alternate hold down methods for larger stock. This solves my initial issue of surfacing the table top itself for use as a waste board giving me the best of both worlds.

For this I used Carbide Create and GSender with a 1/4" end mill.
The 1/4 x 20 inserts I used can be found here : https://amzn.to/37kCcUo
