Jibber Jabber Johnson: Last Christmas, they laughed while you cried - wham mashup extraordinaire

Right in time for the holidays, Jibber Jabber Johnson keeps on the hit parade. This time, it's another reprise mashup of Last Christmas by Wham! and courtesy of twitter's @swedemason, who works for @JOE_co_uk.

I think his technology is unique in the world of (political) mashups. At any rate, I haven't seen any like it. He's obviously got a lookup table database keyed on words and phrases of pronouncements by senior Tory politicians. The database (which must be gigabytes worth) joins audio snippets together with video snippets, and he pulls together brilliantly his own rhyme to the tune and metre of his target song.

The result is a thing of incomparable beauty. My hat's off to him. Bravissimo and ancora!

Here he sends up Boris Johnson's 2020 Christmas party that had the peasantry livid and up in arms two weeks prior to Noel day 25 December 2021. The British sense of fair play was mocked and ground into the mud by the antics of the party-goers coming only the day after swingeing restrictions were put into place by the Johnson cabinet, chiefly Matt Hancock who at the time occupied the senior post in the UK Ministry of Health. For another take on the political bloodsport, see [0]. Cressida Dick embroiled herself too [1], as she scrumbaged for her political masters. That the restrictions were nowhere in evidence at the party causes this phrase to become the epitaph for this unfortunate government:

Liberty for me but not for thee.
