Ozito PXC 18V 210mm Compound Mitre Saw 2yr Australian Made Review
Gday Gday my names gym and today I am going to be giving you my thoughts on the OZITO 18v Portable mitre saw .. after 2 yrs of abuse I mean use … So stick around ..
So before we start ya need to know i bought this out of my own money
I get nothing for doing this but for the few who comment like and subscribe
No manufacturers or retails know who the hell I am
I even were welding gloves when I go to Bunnings so know one can recognise me
Cleaver huh
OZITO 18v Portable mitre saw\
is available form Bunnings
don’t let ya kids run around like a idiot warehouse for $129 dovalaquies
0 to 45 degree bevel and 0 45 mitre cut
Laser line … yeah pretty piss week I have to turn off all the lights so u can see it on camera
and it has a work light mmm yeah don't think ill be counting on that during a black out
Material clamp winch I think I prob lost the same day as I bought it
and extension supports
its made out of metal and plastic with a 3amp batt but with out the extensions ans clamps is around the 8 ½ kg mark
pretty light for a drop saw
Such as making a picture frame, installing skirting boards, building a bed or framing a wall. Complete a range of timber cuts with this 18V Power X Change 210mm Compound Mitre Saw, including straight, mitre, bevel and compound cuts. The material clamp, extendable supports with material stop, work light and laser line makes setting-up your cut and securing your material quick and simple.
seen this saw in bunnings a couple of years ago and thought (baby Voice) Ohh look its a a little baby saw isn't it so cute … so I bought it and then dragged it 300km out into the bush on a professorial job site
it actually came in handy as cutting the lengths of decking on a job site that had no mains and were wear using solar or a genie so not having to have the genie running all day was a blessing
all thou it dose not have the performances of as the saws I normally would use
The cordless portability allows easy transport around the home, making it ideal for DIY timber projects and small renovations
Very 1st thing I had to do was rip out one of the safety catches as it was almost impossible to use the saw with it …
on the handle you have to pull this switch to the right witch is the wrong side for me and then you need to pull in the trigger and then at the same time you need to press this button to close the saw …
that's just way to much bullshit to do 400 times in a day so I disabled the 3rd push button think
I broke the clip with a screw driver or something ..
it was either that or I was going to hurl it off the deck .. along with a few quotes from the toadies hand book of swear words
I like this bit… they have stash a alain key in the back of the handle with ..
and a blade lock down the side on here so you can remove the blade with out trying to stop it spinning where a lot of 1st time uses of a saw like this will easy slice them selves up a little
On each end is a mini built in extension .. just encase u need that extra few inches to get the job done..
ok so depending on what you are doing,
this could come in real handy …
if you have a room and your wanting to do the skirting boards or pitcher rails and this is not something you plane on doing heaps of then this would be relay good ..
if you are someone that makes pitcher frames or coffee table and light and portable and battery operated is more important then speed and power then its something that should work for you ..
if you want to build a stud wall and you have a metric shit ton of 45 by 90s to cut then this will drive you insane … ohh it will cut them but it takes way way to long …
even cutting 18mm hard wood decking was rather slow but it was worth it compered to having a petrol genie roaring away ...
